I had to heal (and due to some stupid rule) and reload for him a couple times that game. Yes doc, I was the medic with blue underarmour.
That thing is absolute madness. I got nailed by a few double-gun rigs that game. I'm glad I was on your side. |

Seems neat. Although i'd rather have 2 or 4 Minis instead. Thats probably 20lbs less and 15+ more bps. |

I'm pretty sure 1 sl8r with a magna could do more damage than that, Plus, what happens when the field has a no more than 2 bonusballs or your out for overshooting? |

The quad can easily do over 70 a second, probably much faster. There isn't a single-barrel paintball gun in the world that can dish out that much paint. With his 4 apex barrels, he could tune it so all that firepower hits the same small circle at whatever distance he can reach. I saw him obliterating opponents at Pauley's Rangers. I don't care how much of a fanboi you are, an Eclipse (or any other single gun) could not tear apart a field like the quad. Yes, overshooting is a concern. But in scenarios, you learn to get over it really quick. |

he has speed ball forearm and elbow pads, so im guessing he runs the snake, lol i just find that pointless
oh and if i had that beast machine i would set all the apex's to different distances, bigger spread, so 3 cranks and a group or 20 people gone ![]() Edited by chaloopy - 23 May 2008 at 8:42pm |

im not a fan of egos, although I do like eclipse cockers. Im saying that, a small light gun that can dish out excess of 30bps accuratly would be more affective, as the a5 and apex combo generally reduces accuracy quite a bit. theres no way he could affectivly snap or take cover as well as someone with a 1 gun, and he wouldnt be able to run as fast, so im thinking that If say the situation came up that I would have to face down an experienced player with a fast gun vs that guy, Id rather face him. no single gun can compare to its firepower, but who cares, I believe its the person behind the gun. i figure this guy wouldnt have the same skill set and would get rolled over by someone willing to face him. |

Right, but the expression of anyone whose spent any time at all on the paintball field would be of either indifference, or a goofy smirk at the lack of practical application to a game. No matter how many BPS you can crank out, it only takes one to eliminate you, and anyone who isn't 9 knows that. |

Since when can practical and paintball be used in the same sentence? =) I always get a kick out of unusual rigs. Jon's Triclops was a fun rig. |

It was the rule at the game "to make it more authentic." Of course, as paintball players, we had a way around it. Instead of the gunners having people follow them around, they just called for reloads. I get pretty sick of healing people sometimes, so helping a guy reload was a welcome change. |
