Long story, short, my brother and I found several of our old guns, hiding in his attic. Two of them are E-gripped A5's, and one is an older model 98 (not Custom.) They've been sitting in a very hot attic for 4-5 years, and I think replacing the entire O-ring set may be a good idea. I did a search, and found Tippmann O-ring kits as cheap as $4.99, but the packaging says they're for the "98 Cutom and CustomPro", and I was wondering if this would be fine for an older, non-Custom "98".
Any other advice along these lines is much appreciated.

Yes, they will be fine, as most of the 98's are all the same internally. You may want to pick up some gold cup oil as well.

Thanks again,N. I've since seen the other threads addressing the same question. And yeah, we've been using Gold Cup oil since the old days, and just a couple days ago my brother got the last bottle from one of our local operations that are getting out of paintball and liqiuidating their stuff. I'm going by there today, they're supposed to have come up with a "deal price" on a J&J ceramic they still have that will fit my A5, as well as the rest of their tank O-rings.

Have the O-rings on hand, but put a few drops of oil in the marker, air it up and see what it does. I'll bet it will hold air.
