Will a PCI Express 2.0 video card work with a PCI Express x16 board? I read that they are backwards compatible, but I want to make sure.

It will be fine.
A lot of people are running G92 GTs and GTSs on older boards with no problem. Frankly, I see no reason for a new PCI standard, we barely saturate the current PCI-E 16x bus. |
