Evil Detonator (PB Reviews had +- 2 on all reviews)

AKA Sidewinder(also Great reviews)

Cp reg(once again good reviews)

palmer stabalizer on Nitro

JW if i had the option between co2 and nitro with the stabalizer what is better cuz i heard palmers is great with co2)

your right that the palmers works great for Co2, but its still co2, the thing is co2 is alot more tempermental than N2 or compressed air. if I had to pick between using co2 with a palmers or using n2 without a reg, I would pick the nitro. palmers help alot, but Co2 just has far to many natural problems when compared HPA or Nitrogen.

Before you buy a reg for your gun, you have to look at the output pressure(s) for the reg in question. Your 98c needs to be operating on about 800 psi, give or take, depending on what you have done to it (with the LPK that's dropped to about 450 psi). So if the reg you get can only put-out 400 psi, then your gun won't operate correctly. So you need a reg that can put-out around 800 psi.

Once you consider that, see what air source you'll be using. If you plan on running any CO2 at all, then the Palmers is the way too go. And even if you plan on running HPA all the time, then I'd still suggest the Palmers, seeing as it gives you great flexability.

Cp reg is great for a tippy.  If you want to use co2 also, get a palmers.  If you want the best of the best for hpa get an AKA 2-Liter.(quite overkill though)

id say get the Palmers

that way since you have a 98, you can switch to co2 if you need

Hey, you are back. Good for you.

If the Sidewinder outputs more than 700 or so psi, then buy that. If not, go for the Stab or CP.

You need around 800psi to operate your tippmann, so no the CP reg wont work.

Why do you say this? My 98Pro has HORRIBLE consistency.. Thats why I'm also looking for a reg. When I say HORRIBLE, I mean like anywhere between 255 to 280. Thats with HPA.

o yah and im thinking about getting a palmers just in case i ever do use Co2

Needing one, and wanting one, are two different concepts.

A reg will help w/ consistency.  A Stabilizer will work better with HPA than with CO2.  A Stabilizer will work great with CO2.
