There are two screws on the right side of your gun. Carefully unscrew them. It may be hard the first time you do it. Lift the powertube up and out of your gun. When you put it back in, don't overtighten the two screws or you might strip them.

When you put them back in make sure you use VERY LITTLE loctite. A little goes a long way.

I used alot once and had to replace my entire power tube.

And also, when you polish your internals you don't have to polish where the power tube goes. Only where there is moving parts. You can but it will take you more time and won't do anything for your gun. You will still have to remove the P.T. though (so no debrees gets in their).

i don't understand your question. do you mean wash and dry the gun with internals in it? if so, certainly not. once you just have 2 reciever halfs, then you can do that if you wish.
