the reason i asked that is because on my a5 i have an rt and i only get like 500 or 600 shots with a 20oz but i also think the cyclone feed uses alot of gas to.

You need to polish your internals then. The R/T uses blowback gas.

depends on how much you fire with the rt and what kind of co2 enhancing upgrades you have. the more you use the rt, the colder the co2 gets, thereby using more liquid and wasting more gas. if you get an anti siphon (assuming youre putting the tank directly into the asa) you will get many more shots per fill, as the anti siphon will not let any liquid get into the marker, also you could invest in a expansion chamber or palmer stabilizer. an x chamber gives the co2 more time to expand, whereas the stabilizer only lets the gun operate at whatever pressure you tell it to, not letting any liquid into the gun. with my palmers i was running my gun at about 675 and getting 1300 shots out of a 20. only getting 600 means your shooting alot of liquid, im amazed you havent busted an oring there. there is no set amount of shots you should get from a co2 tank, it depends on how full it is, and like i said what other upgrades you got. rt in general only uses blowback gas, but if you arent using gas, and using liquid you wont get many shots. if you got any other questions just ask. hope i didnt confuse you too much

Both the Cyclone and the R/T run one excess gas. That means its gas that is normally wasted. The R/T seems to use more gas because with a higher rate of fire your c02 tank gets colder. When the tank is cold you suck up more liquid c02 into the marker. More liquid sucked up equals more c02 used.
You can help this problem with either an expansion chamber or a regulator. |

Yeah if you shoot alittle slower or what not you might get a few more shoots out of your marker. Just messing around and shooting as fast I Can on a 20oz I get about 600 shoots so that about right.

Also when you are carring your marker keep the co2 tank pointed down. I heard this from a player last week at the field. If you walk around with your barrel pointed down and your tank up in the air it allows the liquid in the co2 to run up into your marker.

#1 The R/T is around 70 bux (i got mine used for 50) #2 No it duznt use more CO2, it uses blowback gas (polish your internals like Justice said) #3 you can take the trigger return spring out, its just personal preference. hope this helped |
