So I got Sexual Chocolate back from JT for warranty work.  Out of the box last year it would shut off intermittantly during gun battles. Other than that it shoot's great. I'm impressed up to now with JT's prompt service.  Hopefully the board issue is fixed, I plan on using it this weekend.

Wow, that's a truly interesting setup. I'd like to try that out in woodsball, it looks well suited to it.

Closed bolt=/=more accurate. Every paintball gun I know of, except a few boltless ones, fires from the closed bolt position. Autocockers are no more accurate for being at rest in that position.

There is a perception of accuracy with the AC.  Shot-to-shot it feels real nice.  If you haven't tried the Apex it really works nice when you have PERFECT paint.  You'd be amazed at how accurate an Apex can be with round paint even when set for the long shot.  Ive got a few barrel choices for this gun including a JJ Edge kit and the Python kit.  Once I'm sure the gun is working right I plan on experimenting with step boring for accuracy.  The guy that owns Python said guys have been experimenting with running a smaller bore on the Python attached to a Freak with a larger insert.  I plan on stepping it the opposite way.

Looks great. I love the set-up. You'll have to update with how it performs.

Oh dear lord.

/me sits back while 'cocker myths and other nonsense fly

Nice 'cocker, by the way. When you get the chance, replace the SF frame with an E1 or 2. I had an SF Black Magic. Liked it when it was working, but had too many shortcomings.

Yeah I might mech it if the board keeps acting up.  How much do you think it would cost to e1 or e2 it?

If I am understanding what you are saying (ball going from bigger bore to smaller bore), then all you'll get is breaks. The ball will hit the lip between the two bores more often than not.

Since all parts from the SF frame are compatible with the E1, you can use the 'noid and eyes, and buy an E1 frame and board for maybe $75.

Have you tried this?  It way my speculation that this can happen but it will be simular to a ball leaving a wider ball chamber into a smaller control bore on a barrel.

although some here are saying that the APEX looks funny i think it flows with the marker, the front ASA, the black magic reg, along with the near perfect  matching color makes it flow VERY nicely IMO
