Depends on what you play and in which position. If your strictly frontman, I would choose the nerve. |

there just two different animals.ive read about the nerve a long time ago and it said that they are fast desently durrable markers.but i have also herd that they are peices of crap.i have know idea,as for the shocker,i have shot one that kicked so bad a could put my finger on the trigger and let go with my hand and i would spin while shoosting.but that can be fixed i guess. also shockers are much more upgradeable to suit each induvidual players needs... |

As the owner of 3 (soon to be 4) Shockers, I think I can safely say that they're good markers. Nerves are nice as well, very efficient markers and really have no need for upgrades. Shockers almost require that you buy an HE bolt, and a locking neck is a good investment, as well.
I like Shockers mostly because of the low profile and light weight; I'm regularly a pump player, so I'm used to small light markers without big hoppers and tanks. I don't have a problem using larger setups, but the Shocker is about as close as I can get to a Phantom's weight while using a semi |

the nevre is just a slow and bigger shocker. I would go with a shocker cause they are smaller, more reliable(not saying much), and faster.

The Nerve is not a 'slow and bigger Shocker'. Out-of-the-box, a Nerve will get you 1400 shots off of a 68/45 tank, something a Shocker has trouble doing even with a HE bolt. Coming stock with a Freak barrel is pretty nice, too. As for slow...well, Shockers and Nerves both come stock with the same board, same ROF, same caps. Hell, the frames are interchangeable. Bolt are very reliable. I've never had my Shockers go down on me, other than through my own stupidity (not carrying a spare battery). I know 3 guys with Nerves at the field who have had no problems. Do your research before you post |
