um i think silecers are cool ive seen them at my local senario games does any one Know were to get good directions for them?
p.s. the paintball bayonet is cool but pointless

first of all, they arent really silencers, they dont work, they're just for looks, if u really want one you might find one at opsgear.com

its illegal to make them anyways unless you have a
federal permit.but i have plans for one that can really
get your gun quiet for about $10 or $20.

Bamaballer yes its true that to make a silencer its illeagel but thats to
make one for a firearm. and paintball guns arent considerd firearms
in the U.S. sence they are purely pnuematic. if theres any body who
knows other
wise plaease say somthing.

get a piece of pvc pipe that will start about an inch
before the holes in the barrel start and extend about
1 inch over the barrel. drill holes in it about every inch
or half inch. put it over the barrel and duct tape to
secure it to part of the barrel BE SURE TO LEAVE
THE END THAT EXTENDS OVER THE BARREL
UNCOVERED. then stuff cotton balls between the
barrel and pipe. then put some electrical tape over
the end that extends past the barrel with the sticky
side facing away from the gun and cut slits in it so
when the ball comes out of the barrel theyll let the
ball through but keep the cotton in.

its illegal to make a silencer for any firearm, paintball
gun, or bb gun. if youre gonna use it and the cops
find out its a silencer then youll be serving a few
years in jail, unless you have that permit. and
paintball guns are considered firearms why else do
you think you have to be 18 to buy them?

If they are considered firearms or not is a touchy matter. However, the ruling on silencers is that, if it can be modified to fit a firearm, it is illegal. So unless you can come up with some kind of design that is like integrated with the barrel and the gun or something, don't go make one out of PVC and get yourself arrested.

A paintball GUN (Yes, it shoots a projectile at potentally deadly velocities, it is a gun) needs a permit for a silencer. My friend and I looked into it once. If you make your own, you have to get it approved (they check how quiet it makes the gun, if its to quiet, they wont approve it) and then you have to get a permit. If you don't get a permit you can get into trouble and fined. I haven't heard of anyone getting thrown in jail for it but you will be fined I think $500. I've also heard of people who have tried to approve silencers being told it would cost them $200 + dollars. To add to it, they tend to reduce the velocity of the ball.

To have one that works you have to have a liscense but lapco makes them just for looks.

The ATF considers ANY silencer illegal, regardless if it is for a paintball gun or a bb gun or a spitwad gun.
