I was wondering how small of a barrel i could get but still have the performance of the 12 inch.  The reason i want a small barrel is because the gun will be easier to menuever in a bunker.

Either get a Hammerhead Shark Tooth or an End Game Stub Nose Barrel.  Both of those are 3" and they are great barrels.  Or if you want something alittle bigger, you can get a 8" Lapco Bigshot.

All great barrels for the price.

The idea barrel length is rated somewhere between12-16 inches. Understanding that cutting the size will effect accuracy their are two things you could do.

check out special ops for their snub nose barrel. Its about 5 inches. They also have a new one coming out called a shark tooth thats supposedly better.

In all honestly, I would just go with a good quality 8 inch lapco bigshot.

Indeed^ the bigshot never fails

With smaller barrels its also harder to poke through brush, or get around the edges of trees or walls.

The hammerhead shark tooth is actually a 5.5" barrel and uses different backs for the bore sizing. VERY accurate, I have it on my A5.

I have a 4'' barrel cut from the stock, and it's just as accurate...  I'd say it depends on the quality of the barrel, not the length.  You just need to turn velocity up a bit more with a shorter barrel.
