Does any one have any thoughts about the new Smart Parts 06 Progressive Barrel. Is it good?

Since I have an a-5 with e-grip,  do you think if I got a 14 inch, it would be too long while shooting fast? Would I break paintballs?

14" is as long as I'd go. I'm sure it's good.

It'll probably have the same performance of the previous models, just not the same looks. So it's a decent barrel for the price, although I'd take a Bigshot over it anyday. And 14" is good, although I prefer 12".

SP Vision Imp w/ ALL NDZ internals, CP flame drop w/ on/off, Freak-AA tip, lowrise feedneck, NDZ Pro-Mag trigger, tapeworm, NDZ lpr cap, NDZ ti. bolt pin, maybe thats it?

Wow, they definitly look much better.  14" is a good size, but many people here will tell you that you should get the Lapco Bigshot.

I have the 05 teardrop, basically same as progressive only a tad quieter. excellent barrel, but IMPOSSIBLE to shoot through breaks (almost never happen) or chops, due to the stepped bore.

Bah, there's a multitude of better barrels for the same price if not cheaper. Ie, Lapco Bigshot (40-50), J&J Ceramic (30-45), and CP 1-Peice (20-35).
