If yer gonna paint yer marker wit model paint, I suggest you get an airbrush and use acrylic paint (what colors you want to use is entirely up to you), as fer the clear coat, use clear flat acrylic (5 to 10 coats) so you can see the applications dry, acrylic paint dries real fast compared to other model paints when used wit an airbrush.

Also another good option is car spray paint which needs no primer and is rather durable. This can be found at walmart or auto parts stores.

Enamel paints take a bit longer to dry , but provide a more durable finish , acrylic paints are faster , and easier to repaint ,if you want ,or need to  (I cure my enamel paints in a preheated oven , for at least 10 hours at no more than 200 deg F . for a quick durable coating )

Enamel = automotive finishes

Acryilc= Krylon , rustoleum

SL68-II , micro honed and polished .688" bore . Tuff Enuf .
Widowmaker , under construction

why black.  If ur spray painting oit something make it original.

Dont use acrylic cause its water based and will wear out and scratch like crazy.
