Well i probably should have asked this a long time ago but my friends who have these guns havent played in a whiel so i havent seen the need. throughout the past year, ive had 3 friends spyders/spyder clones break down on them. one has an imagine select, another has a mongoose lcd, and the third has a mongoose 2 lcd. The problem they are all experiencing is that when they fire, the coil set(you know, the circular thing that pushes the sear) does not hit hard enough for the sear to release the bolt.one friend has another spyder so he swapped his bolt out for the other spyder one and that worked for a while but it started happening again.

Were all goin to be playing against the SWAT team that we have an affiliation with in a few weeks so they need to get there guns working by then. anyone have any idea what could be wrong? and no, it isnt the battery, theyve swapped out all kinds of batterys from duracells to shop-rite brand to the rechargables and nothing works. thanks for the help.

Sounds like theres not enough battery power.

Charge the batteries or get new ones.

I have 2 spyder and when the battery gets low theres not enough power to hit the striker.

Thats my guess.

If you have any electronics know-how, you might want to replace the capacitor that is charged by the battery and then fires the solenoid.  If the capacitor on the board is bad, it will not supply enough juice to properly fire the solenoid.
