I know everyone hates spyders and so do I, but how do you get the pins out of the grip frame that are holding the switch in?

Get a small tap or sarcrifice allen wrench and hammer. Look at your trigger frame with both grips off. There should be two circles parallel to each other just behind the trigger. These are pins, and there should be another right above the trigger. Flip the frame over to the side opposite "E-Marker." Take your tap and hammer and pound the pins out. You may need some pliers to get them out once you can't tap them anymore. Do the same for the trigger. Once they are all out the switch should come out fairly easily.

If you break something I am not responsible.

Why does it matter if you hate them?

Did you treat it like a Tippmann? You can't do that to Spyders unfortunately. They are far from rugged, but if you baby it, it'll treat you good. Heckuva lot more affordable too. E-Tippy=$200. E-Spyder=$60 (refurb Imagine over Action Village). Plus, anything you can do to a Tippy, you can do to a Spyder.

Meh. I guess i was used to Tippmanns durability and reliability.

The people I play with have spyders and icons and other spyder knock offs and I am always having to fix em. I guess thats why i dont like them that much.

Yeah, that happens a lot. I think what happens most of the time is a newbie gets one as his first gun and doesn't really know how to manage it. Thus it breaks. I actually suggest getting a high-end Spyder, such as the Electra or Fenix as a step up from a tippy. I say this because after abusing your Tippy, you have a general idea of what's going on, and you can better manage a Spyder. Plus, I actually consider a Spyder more upgradable than a Tippy.

Edit: Sorry for the thread hijak, Poop. (I'm just gonna call ya Poop!)

lol i am now POOP!

I am going to stick with my tippmann forever.

I just wanted to know how to get the switch out

I will try tomorrow to get it out. I could get the trigger pin out like 2-3mm earlier with a screwdriver and hammer, but it wouldnt budge past that.
