I got a faltline barrel Saturday. I had one of the guys that work at
the store install it for me. Last night after a couple of days of
paintballing I decided to oil everything inside, every screw came out
except the Flatline Rail(Very small screw) and its stripped, I kept
trying to unscrew it and it never moves, any ideas on how to take it
off?
Thank you for any help. |

Wait, when you say "oil everything", you don't include the front bolt right?

I'm assuming you mean the screw that goes through the rear sight to hold the barrel shroud in place. Here's a cheap way that might work. This is easiest if you get someone to hold the marker for you, otherwise you'll have to clamp it or something. Once the marker is secured, unscrew the screw while pushing on the other end of it with an allen wrench small enough to go inside the nut holding it in place. |

That didnt work Mack. I took the gun to the store that installed it for
me. They tried numerous ways to take it off. They tried hammering the
Tippmann wrench into the screw and tried taking it off. Nothing worked
and the owner of the store said he has some tools at home that can take
it off, but I doubt it.

Superglue the allen wrench into the hole and let dry. Once dry unscrew.
If you get the easy out to work, I appauld you. I was unable to and wrecked a receiver halve attepting to get the screw out. |

Bummer. That was my best idea that doesn't involve spending money on special tools or risk of damage to the receiver. I like Hades idea though. Good luck. P.S. It just occured to me that you might have meant the screw head was stripped; I assumed you meant the threads. |

No, the screw head, the owner screwed it in way too hard. So I tried
taking it off and it stripped, I tried blaming him with a polite
manner, but he just ignored me and kept hammering the wrench into the
screw.
I'll post if the super glue won't work. |

Well the superglue didn't work. I put on the s.glue held it for 30mins
with all my might, then let it dry for a full day. I tried unscrewing
it today and the wrench came out of the screw. The stripped screw is in
tight, and now I can't oil my gun or clean the inside of it, since
noone and nothing can take it off. If anyone has anymore ideas please
let me know.
Thanks. |
