"Ah because when playing a game and shooting at people, you would much rather it look like you are actually shooting them so you look more badass."
Yes...yes I would. "You actually think you need to give a reason for why your gun "looks soooo real" on this forum?" It seems that way. |

your gun is a wierd combination between milsim and woodsball field rental.
i hate to sound like an ass, but i cannot stand your current set-up. The tank looks like it would make it very front-heavy. if you're going to run it like that, get a 3.5oz co2 tank. also, if you're going to make a mil-sim, it helps if you choose a gun and stick with it. Mil-simmers don't like hybrids... Hybrids are the ricers of paintball. i'd recommend changing your air system to something that makes more sense... but it's your marker... |

Alright, some respectable feedback! I know I've said that I don't like remotes, but heres why: I had one for 3 months and it weighed my belt down a lot and it got caught on branches a lot. I play fast and set up flanks a lot, so when I move, I want to move freely. Also, I'm a huge gun buff, I know my gun is a cross between a G36 and a UMP, but that's for 3 reasons.
1.) The parts available to me were limited, I tied to get a different sight rail but couldn't find one anywhere. 2.) I know I could replicate any real gun, but why not come up with something original. P.S. big fan Heckler & Koch subs. 3.)(Allow me to say this without sounding arrogant, but...) I'm a very good artist and I draw a lot of action-related pictures. I've drawn a million guns and I've always wanted to have something unique, realistic and cool. Just make sure you don't draw them in school or you might end up like this kid.

Abbadon, I hope you realize that most of the crap we've given you has been a result of the fact that you made three threads where only one was appropriate, two of which really didn't contribute any more than the first one did. Furthermore the nature of the SW2 and SW3 pics suggest more of a counterstrike mentality than anything else. In the end, however, your marker does look pretty cool, especially if you want to go for the hyper-realistic woodsballing crowd. I myself upgraded my own tippy with the mentality that, although I'm playing a sport, I at least want a marker that works and feels similar to weapons I've trained with in the past, choosing function over style. In essence, your marker is fine and probably would have gotten a much different response from the forums than the Swat Worthy threads alltogether got. I can't presume to speak for the rest of the forum members, and I'll be the last person to simply shout 'Shut up and conform to the crowd!' ... but I will respectfully warn that forum communities, wherever you go are tempermental and touchy, and a certain knowledge of what will fly in a certain forum will go a long way into avoiding flack from the regulars. EDIT: Netspeak acronyms are censored here? *snicker* Ah well ... Edited by c4cypher - 24 May 2007 at 8:02am |

Thank you cypher. The reason I had 3 threads is because I don't no spit about computers and couldn't figure out how to get all the pics on one thread. I know the other 2 were pretentious but I was just trying to have little fun (plus I had been drinking heavily and it sounded like a good idea at the time
). On that note, can someone please tell me how to properly reply to specific comments, you know with the... "Abaddon said: then there's that box with the remark". Also, I've been out of school for years, but when I was there I had a lot of over-the-top art in my sketch book. But I never got in trouble for having it, and I was in a strict catholic school that loved to discipline kids as much as possible. Guess I was lucky. |

Yeah, I know, but there was no mention of the band, which I guess what you meant by, 'doesn't show what he said'. |

^^^ I was talking about that one guy, HE would never hit me. I've been shot plenty of times. There was no mention of the Band Terror, but the guy had a Terror t-shirt on in his pic.
