I have a A5 that was working fine when playing in my back yard on co2. I took it to a playing field that had unlimited compressed air so I put a HPA tank on it then started leaking. sound like it was coming out of the tombstone area, then I shot a few times and you could hear it out of the barrel bad. so I just put it up and played with a different gun. could it be because I switched from co2 to HPA? any and all help is appreciated.

That shouldn't have done anything that would cause the issue. Double check your HPA bottle and make sure it's a high pressure output (800-850psi) and not a low-pressure one. It's possible that if it's a low pressure output, you wouldn't have enough pressure in the marker to force a proper fit on some seals and o-rings. Also, how long has the A-5 been sitting? maybe some o-rings dried out?
