i just bought a used PMI HPA tank off of ebay. 4500 psi, and Pmi's website says it has a 850 psi output. will this work with the X7 response trig? if not what do i need to do?

yes that will  work just  fine.  if you wanted to bring it down you would have to get a reg but there is  no need to.
Stay low, run fast, and hope that paintball doesn't hit your...

thanks guys, i just recieved the tank and there is a decent sized dent on the top (where bottle goes in to reciever...) if this becomes a problem can i get a new peice?

If your tank is dented you should not use it.  That could be very dangerous.

ok... but is there any way to replace the piece im talking about? its a 45ci 4500psi PMI tank.

Is the tank itself dented or is the regulator dented?

the regulator a belive, the peice with the fill nipple and pressure gauge. (sorry for my noob-ness, first HPA tank)

If you could take a picture of the dent, that would be great.

If its functionality is affected by the dent, tank regulators are fairly easy to replace.  It usually involves sending it to the tank company so they can fit a new one, and will typically be less than $100.

If the performance of it is fine, you should be all set.  You could tell by setting up an inline pressure gauge rig, so if you want to do that I could explain more.  Or maybe someone has a better idea.
