Just when you thought it was over, I just had to get yet another 98 to work with.
![]() This one is a gun that never got finished, got it off a friend that I knew when I was on TO for 200 shipped. Probably going to get some body work done, wiring and an eye cover. The battery will be in the grip, and there will be a NN ram coming. Not that complicated. Woohoo for me and whoring E-Bolts. Somehow I have a feeling I am going to have to part or sell one of the bottom guns to fund this project. And for more eye candy: ![]() Metallic Blue Fleck Backup Stock GTA E-Bolt 98 ![]() Predator II 98 with all the upgrades money can buy. Edited by SRT-4 - 31 October 2007 at 7:23pm |

Whoever primered the one in the top pick needs to be shot for doing so with the e-bolt in it.

I'm excited to see the final product. Are you going to fill the gap between the trigger frame and the bolt?

Tallen - Wow, I would think someone of your knowledge would know that the "primer" is the gun after being beadblasted, also, the ram is milled, so that was beadblasted to remove the remaining anno for later anno/powdercoat.
SinisterNorth - I am actually not going to fill in that gap, rather I am going to cut part of the dm5 frame and round it to the 98's body. |

'98's are painted....
I was just taking a quick look and indeed the ram does look a bit gray, like it has primer on it. Did they leave it in while being bead-blasted? Edit- Crap, now I'm tempted to go buy the LPK GTA E-bolt 98 that I build for my friend shawn. Then go to town with a dremmel and some krylon! Edited by tallen702 - 31 October 2007 at 11:14pm |
