I was wondering with the Tippman A-5 with Response Trigger, do you need an electric hopper? I know it has the cyclone feed system but is it as good as its said to be. Thanks.

The way the A5 is constructed generally precludes the use of hoppers other than the cyclone feed system.  Unless you really get carried away on the trigger, the cyclone should be adequate for your needs.  If it isn't, a search of the forums will reveal many upgrades that are available for it.

I was also browsing the forums and seeing most of the suggested upgrades included a "remote line." I was wondering what a remote line is. Thanks.

A remote line allows you to place your CO2 or HPA tank behind on your back, instead of using it like a stock on your marker. They are one of those personal preference things. The only time they are worth buying IMHO is if you are going for a MilSim look.

I like remote lines myself.

If you feel like you are out shooting your cyclone, you can upgrade it with TechT upgrades, or buy a Q-Loader.

You MIGHT need some gas fittings, but those are easily available everywhere and are cheap. As for anything else after a barrel, look around to see what you like best. Such as an X7 hopper, various stocks, mags, and shrouds, etc.
