to everybody running a low pressure kit for a-5 this is an upgrade that will use up your n2 twice as fast as just using a regular a-5 straight to the tank so basically you have spent 400 for something you could have bought for 200 meaning just the n2 tank feel free to speak your thought about the lpk upgrade |

Well i used my A-5 for a long time on HPA before i got my LPK, and I am certain that it uses the same if not alittle less air than it did without the LPK. Many of my friends have it also, and not one of them have ever said anything about it using more air. We all love it.

I understand what yall are saying but what yall dont understand with the lighter bolt that comes with the setup it takes a little bit more air for each shot and if you have an egrip you would notice a difference in the rate of fire and how much excess air their is. the a-5 is already a gas guzzler but with this kit it take more air to enter the valve through the "regulator" which then therefore fires the gun even though its a lighter bolt its still takes more air to fire

you're not...right.
the regulater lowers the pressure of the gas the gun uses. this means that the gun must use more gas volume than if the gun were running a high-pressure setup to get the same velocity. High volume at low pressure is the SAME as low volume at high pressure (well, ish). However, when the gun is running on 800 psi it uses more gas than it needs, and lowering the operating pressure makes it more possible to use only enough gas to run the gun...which equates to more efficiency. |

ok guys calm down
1) the tippmann has a rear bolt look it up in your manuals how ever this is the same as a hammer so you are both right. 2) kiolia your only half right LP will get more shots per tank to a point. (i know u know this but for the others) pressure=efficiency is like a bell low pressure on one side high on the other and in the middle is the sweet spot. for my auto cocker if i set my PSI to high my gun wont be verry efficent same thing if it shoots 2 low. |
