I recently installed the remote adapter using the Tippmann YouTube instructional videos. Other than the example being given on a TPX model, I was able to find and correct how to install it on the newer TiPX models of the pistol marker, however I have a slow leak from the adapter itself.
The leak is coming from the area circled on this picture. The piece looks like it is two pieces/threaded, but I cannot get it to tighten or loosen. Is it possible this is a defective adapter?
![]() Or am I just an idiot? Testing with a fresh co2 cartridge in the chamber, I would assume that it should not leak from this area - or I would I need the remote line actually installed to test? I know that a dry co2 cartridge would have to be in when using the remote line or it will leak from THAT end instead. Help!

If it's leaking at the point you have circled then it's a bad adapter. Call Tippmann's service department for help with exchanging this part.

Thank you - can you also point me to the correct sized remote line for the adapter end? I'd have thought it would come with one but lines are not standardized I guess.

I'm not sure what you mean by size. If you
order a standard remote you'll get the correct adapter. Unless you order
something that has a Connex or a Pro Connect style adapter. These are the type
that are push button quick connect & on/off connections.
Also I was thinking about your leak problem.
You can remove the male remote fitting from the remote line adapter by simply
unscrewing with 7/16th wrench. If you reseal the threads & put it back
together the leak will stop.
