RT is great i installed my own and it can really increase your rate of fire, is suggest that if you are not too mechanically inclined you have someone install it for you, it took about an hour to finally put my A-5 back together. so to make a long story short "yes" buy it.

The RT in my opinion is 'BETTER' then a E-grip or E-bolt(ITS ALOT CHEAPER AND EASY TO INSTALL) THE only downside of the upgrade is that some paintball places have Banned the RT because they think a newb gun shouldn't Be that good(I think?) Well if your a woodsball player and dont have any rules to go by then I think the RT is the best Firepower upgrade Tippmann has to offer..

r/t r illegal in tourneys and e-bolt and e-grip is legal so if u r planning on playing in tourneys or most fields then get one of the electric upgrades unless ure field does allow r/t and that u r not goin to tourneys then buy the r/t

Me and my bro have diff. opinions on this. He says the r/t is just as good as the e-grip but i think the e-grip would be way better because you can select your rate of fire. And for the e-grip being only about $40 more, I'd rather get an e-grip instead

With an A-5 id say e-grip. That way u are covered on both woodsball and tourneys if u ever decide to play in one. The reason i have an r/t is because the e-bolt is soooo expensive for the 98c. Do some work on your gun w/ a few trigger mods and an e-bolts rof will be just as good as an r/t w/o mods or even better.
