A new barrel.  I suggest the Bigshot or the Flatline.

I play in a speedball league with my A5 and there is several things i would recommend.  First off is definately a new barrel, i have a full freak kit on mine and guys cany believe how accurate it is.  Definately a nitro tank.  I would also recommend the new stainless steel powertube and bolt, it will give you the extra distance to get across the field.  I would recomend polishing the internals too.  Then i would throw in an inline reg because the gas efficency isnt the greatest on the A-5's. After that get an E Grip (not an RT) and a double trigger (the JCS blade trig is not bad but you can always grind down the normal double trig).  The e grip rips, the rate of fire can keep up with timmys, shockers, etc were talking 14+ bps on semi.  After all this you will definately earn respect on the field.  My whole team uses A-5s with these upgrades and we whipe the floor with teams of timmys shockers etc.  The A-5 is definately one of the most underestimated guns for speedball.  This probably seems like a lot of money but overall its can be less than a brand new timmy or shocker.  and dont forget about Ebay

Peace

Remember, chicks dig guys who can walk the trigger.

You will have to check your fields rules for tourneys to see if you can use the r/t, you might want to get the e-grip instead and a barrel as well as a drop. Once that is paid for then think about compressed air and a lpk and which drastically reduces recoil increasing your aim aswell as saving yourself air. Nothing worse than runnin outta co2 in the middle of a game cause they are pigs.

I dont have the money yet, but I will be getting it soon. I agree with getting the lapco bigshot, but I dont really want to spend all the money for a e-grip.
