Hey Tippys,
I've had my Tippmann 98 for about 4 months. I have these upgrades: Flatline, Collapsable Stock, and Scope. Today while playing Woodsball I was pushing my Tippy to the limit and the screw (1 of 2) on the right side of the gun flew off and hit my teamate in the head.
Any advice? |

And the Kitty goes? MEOW
And the Flatline goes? OUCH |

I lost one of these screws too, but afterwards, it wouldn't screw back
in... I just left it out, and haven't had anything wrong with it
since.

Isnt that the screw that holds the power tube in place ? (One of them ) . if it is , and you can , put a drop of BLUE loctite on the threads and put it back in (Blue loctite is removable if you should want to , Red and other grades are MUCH more difficult to remove ) As for your friend getting hit in the head , apologize and offer him a bandaid ?? I cant think that any of the Upgrades you have would have caused that to happen . I had mine come loose too , after I had disassembled it . I used some loctite , and has stayed put since . Oh , Welcome to the forums !! Edited by Shadowminion |
