04 vf cocker

alot of ppl are saying that you haver to ajdust the cocker and im wondering what you have to do to "adjust"?

umm, i think they mean time it. The 04 comes timed from the factory, but timing is easy when you get the hang of it, the first step of Timing is
Back Block-the back block of the gun should not be up against the body of the gun nor should it be back to far because if it is up to close it will wear on the body and the bolt, if it is to far away it makes the RAM work harder and making its life shorter. So to adjust it just take out the bolt and the cocking knob and turn the back bolt whichever way it needs to be turned, a good way to test is to see if a piece of paper can fit between the body and the block.

Step 2-Adjusting the bolt. To make sure the bolt is in the right spot pull back on the back block all the way till it locks there should only be about 1/8 of the bolt showing, if their is more your going to chop and if its to far back then you are going to slow down the cycle time of the marker. So to adjust it remove the cocking rod, on the back of the cocking rod there is a set screw loosen the set screw and turn the tip of the cocking rod counter clockwise to make the bolt stick out further or clockwise to pull the bolt back.

Step 3- Adjusting the lug. The lug determines when in the trigger pull that the gun is going to fire, first remove the bolt then use a 1/8" allen wrench and stick it into the top of the gun there is a little access hole that allows the allen wrench to get to the hammer and to adjust the lug turn it clockwise for a longer trigger pull and turn it counter clockwise for a shorter trigger pull, making the trigger pull to long can result in the marker not firing or not recocking, making the trigger pull to short will cause the gun to go full auto.

Step 4- Adjusting the 3 way. To adjust the 3 way look on the right side of your gun their is the actuating rod then further down the rod there is a collar, on the collar you must loosen the set screw closest to the gun, and twist it, if you twist it to the right it will make the gun actuate closer to when the gun is fired, you want the gun to actuate right when the gun gets done firing, if you turn it to much to the right you will make the gun actuate before it fires which is a bad thing, if you turn it ts the left all the way the gun will actuate later in the trigger pull or may not recock at all which is also bad.

This is just a watered down version on how to time an autococker but if you buy one it tells you how to do it in the manual.

	when you buy a cocker, it will shoot. to get it too shoot faster or to a personal preference you ahve to "time it". this means adjusting some parts. sorry im not sure, i remember seeing a flash tuturial on this but i dont remember where.
	The desire for polyester is just to powerful.
