my buddy got an SKS
we took it over to his uncles house where he has a truck sitting out back we ripped holes clean through the truck at 100 yards like we were shooting paper targets.
he pulled the hood off and proped it up agenst the back and we would put rounds through the hood, bumper, bed, and anything else it hit. before i shot the sks i dident think much of the 7.62x39mm round mainly because most of the info i got on it came from people on the internet saying 5.56 is much better. but this round packs a punch i have no doubt it could go clean through a car knock down anything behind it. |

I owned an SKS while I was in the Marines. It was really a decent rifle.
Overall, the .223 (5.56mm) round is better. But the 7.62x39 is a good round in its own right. |
