Defend Paintball here!

They're dumb

Just looking at the link made me think it was stupid. Let's remember something though, most of these guys aren't the paintball addicts we are, so they don't know anything. But yes I think some of them are pretty nuts. The only guy on that forum that is repectable is the guy mass. If only they knew the truth about paintball and it's wonders. Oh well, only proves that we need to promote it more to the community. Now where did I put that picket sign?

man i can't even read that some of the things they say about paintball just ticks me off. i would love to "lit" all those paintball hates up

Actually, there was a thread wit the same question 4 or 5 months ago in the Tippmann Forum...I think there was at least 6 to 8 pages on the topic.

And from reading the topic in that link, its no different from the comments we all read in here.

People will state that paintballing is a sport or a hobby, who cares, at least we're havin fun doing it.

Not really.

One guy said it is a sport once it is in the olympics. Correct me if I am wrong, but american football isn't in there either.

that was totally stupid....i read about to the park about the olypics and closed it disgusted...

To each his own opinion I say. As long as they aren't trying to ban my sport, I'll leave them alone....But to that one guy who mentioned that "until it's in the olympics, it's not a sport" All I have to ask is....CURLING is more of a sport than paintball?

i think paintball is one of the best sports out there. they're dumb. i agree that they're entitled to their opinions but come on. if you are going to be hatin on paintball just shut up. i mean come on. if they dont like paintball then they can get the heck outta the forums.

Sport:pastime, recreation. physical activity(as in running or athletic games) engaged in for pleasure

Well , Plentifull balls and myself posted there , and we believe that the way for paintball to be recognized for what it is , is thru  educating such as those on that forum .

Ya , we kept it clean , lol , but we all need to take a proactive stance in this , we ARE the represantitives for this sport , and there are enough people out there, that think we are all like those Jerks they see on the evening news that shoot passers-by on their bikes and such , we need to let them know there are responsible , legitimate participants out there, like us.

Oh, I only speak for myself here , not plentifulballs , but I dont think I am far from the mark.
