Dumbest Olympic Sport

Bingo.  It really is an awsome sport.  You may all thinkt hese events are stupid, but if you see the dedication the players put into it, you will understand why they are such great events.  Besides, any sport played by the Scotish has to be good, right?

Your kidding about the solo sync swiming right? How would that work? I can't take speed walking seriously, when I first heard of it I thougt it was a joke. I understand that all Olympic athletes deserve respect for their dedication and hard work, but I think some of the events are a little weird.

And is curling the sport where they push a stone on ice, then brush a path for it with brooms? I'm sure that actually participating is diffent, but it is quite possibly the most boring sport to watch.

I'm in the speedwalking competition for the country of Libya. So watch out in 2008.

I miss the truly great sports that never made it into the Olympics but were covered every week by The Wide World Of Sports. Games like cliff diving and barrel jumping (for those of you too young to remember, this was done on ice skates without much of a running start). What about Boche ball? Lawn darts? Croquette? I would love to see Olympic Simon Says or Marco-Polo. I bet there would be a great turn out for Dodge-ball.

Curling. That's a good one. The only sport where you can practice all day and never have to worry about your beer getting warm!

Watch people chuck balls at each other with a force so hard they get thrown back.

Speed walking is more of a sport than anyone will realize. You have to go heel toe, which is a very difficult and those people get going pretty fast.

Sincronized swimming I can kinda see that, but the sport that really ticks me off is equestrian....It pits horse vs. horse, not man vs. man, which is the dumbest thing of all.
