lapco's better. but get 12 if u want manueverability or 14 for accuracy, its all opinion. and dont get the foregrip- it doesnt help ur performance at all. try out ur new marker a few times before u get anything more so u can make an accurate decision on what u want. Edited by Purrrsian |

Ya the ceramic on that site is pretty sick, but i wouldnt get that fore-grip. Just save up a little bit and then you can get a chrome x-chamber.

There is no difference performance-wise between the 12" and 14" barrel. Edited by Stormy Knight |

Found a Lapco Bigshot in Stainless here, but it's pricey. http://www.paintballheadquarters.net/paintballheadquarters/B arrels_Lapco.html The only other Lapco barrel I'd recommend would be the Autospirit. You can find it in stainless. I had trouble searching for it for the 98, but I did find it with Spyder threads. If you don't mind using a barrel adapter, this might be your only other alternative. You'll also have to start using small to medium bore paint with this barrel.

Go with the JJ Ceramic. Better than any 32* and pretty quiet. To tell the truth I've shot boomys that I didn't like as much as the JJ. $33 on pbgear.com and you have a really accurate barrel, plus $47 extra. That $47 can be spent on, lemme hear it now... that's right, paint and entry!

i like the dye ultralite and dye boomstick...they both 2 piece so u can change length and tip color...and they r both dye's...i have a 14" dye ultralite and a 14" lapco bigshot...the bigshot sux compared 2 the ultralite...and the boomstick is better...but more expensive...like $50 more than the ultralite bigshot-$55 ultralite-$80 boomstick-$130 |
