Hey me and my buddies are making a fort for capture the fort and we need some ideas for what kind of structure to build. We have super thick bushes in the front to shoot behind with thorns and we have a huge oak tree about ten yards behind those bushes. And a back path leading to the fort.I thought about making garbage bags as sand bag bunkers. And we have a sniper wherever in the woods usually with a radio telling where he's seen people. Because there will be like 3-4 people in the fort and the rest against it. Right now for the first game the three people in the fort will be my friend with the A-5 e-grip with whisper barrel, second a regular spyder electra at 13bps, and a second kid that shoots fast and me as a sniper.hehe

Build a two story barn, with loft windows and peep holes. Now that, is hardcore. Oorr. Just a two story fort, with no floor in the bottom part and a ladder inside, and stairwell outside. Siding, and pickets, with holes so you can shoot out of. Of course, you have to have a flag too. haha. But, if you don't want to take the time using wood, nails, and hammers... Just start stacking logs/sticks up in linkin' log pattern. If you don't know what I mean it's log cabin style, cover the outside with a tarpoleum (Camo preferably) and make some spots high enough to shoot standing so your legs don't cramp up while in kneeling position. By the way, the tarp works.

I ripped mine off of an old deer blind that i haven't hunted in a while. Just stuck it over a bunch of stacked wood for extra protection. My bunker is on the side of a near-cliff hill. You have to follow a side trail to get up there otherwise it's almost impossible. Since the sidetrail is nearly completely clear we're not afraid of a side attack, we have minimal cover on that side. Otherwise, it's the front and the other side. We also took pine-slabs and just nailed them to trees to make a fort like wall, with sides and a back and stuff.
Email me, or IM me. My email is MaggotxKorps@aol.com and my IM is MaggotxKorps. I have pictures of them and stuff, you could probably see and get it better than me explaining it. |

Me and my buddies made guard towers behind each main fort. You might want to do that.

My friends were lucky... They had an old abandoned cabin in the middle of the woods. One team holds up in the cabin and the others come in at them. First time I played my friend let me use his flatline tippmann, I took out 3 guys the first round "sniping" the windows, next round I got uber owned walked out in the front of the cabin and got shot 5 paintballs in the bicep area, hurt, pain. LOL (sorry... spam) I would build something use plywood find a used deer blind or anything camoflauge that can cover the walls relatively cheap. Shouldnt take to long we made something like this in the morning and was playing at lunch. |

Ah geez dont get me started! I love the covered action and ill tell ya that ya need a tarp, stops the paint dead in its tracks if ya get a good one, a ton a debris, and do some diggin! All of my bunkers are in ground bout 5 feet deep. I got plywood to block paint and vision, i got camo netting, and some fox holes dug thanx to my good ole ditch witch. So i pretty much have a connected system of bunkeres linked with a main base. My base is a big old metal shed that I put 2 doors on and 3 windows. Oh and a very important feature. Put yer doors on the CORNERS! so when you swing em open, you got a moving, pivoting barrier between you and your opponent. Tell ya what, when ya get done with yer fort, post up and tell us wat ya got. Hope ya got some info from this.

build a tree fort about 7 feet up and then put walls. Now you have a 2 story base. Try putting in a floor (a few layers of plywood) and dig out a small celler (mebe 4 ft. down) with an escape tunel/hole. That way, if you get into sum serious trouble, you can sneak out.
