Is there any way to reduce the weight of a 98 custom by a little bit?

You can mill down you reciever halves (the outside of your gun). Look on the pic topic for some ideas. It can make your gun look original, look better, and make it lighter all in one. You can basicaly mill anything near the back of the gun, but you need to be more careful near the barrel.

A remote might do it, and a drop would definately make it seem lighter.

smaller tank, drop, or remote will greatly lighten it. and a stock will help balance and support the gun better. when the tanks in the stock position it tends to be much heavyer (back heavy). a drop helps alot.
it really dosent wiegh all that much. mine weighs alot with a 240rd hopper, full 20oz, and x-chamber. but the stock and drop realy seem to lessen it. |

umm a remote, lift weights, and if ur gun seems heavy while ur playing u should go find the action. when people paintball they dont even notice there gun weight cuz the rush you get increases muscle strength. but a remote will help.

A remote line coupled with a stock is excellent. Carry your air on your back, and it'll even up the weigh distribution. Personalyl, I'd advocate a flatline barrel too, since you're taking so much weight fof the back of the gun, but mostly jsut because I love my flatty and want to share the joy with everyone. :P The guy who mentioned weights isn't wrong though- the marker shouldn't seem heavy. With ym current setup it still weighs less than the rifles we use in the military, and those aren't heavy at all. You should be comfortable with the physical presence of your marker. It makes it a lot easier to shoot instinctively when you're caught by surprise without time to aim... |

Lifting weights and excercising does help in yer game, whether its speedball or woodsball...do some concentration curls wit a 5 or 10lbs dumbbells on both arms (3 sets of 10 to 15 reps fer each arm and yer biceps will grow, after that, do yer triceps)....after awhile when you pick up yer marker, you would think yer marker is lighter than air and if you think that excercising all the muscle groups in the human body doesnt help, then definitely you wont last on any field of play.

You can swiss cheese the reciever halves...jk don't do that. I'd go with the milling of the doy down so it's lighter. Oh, and ritzblitz, I'm finding you too become quite annoying with your quick unthought out responces. |

Let me clarify. I already exersize regularly, and my marker is not heavy. I am trying to find a way to make it lighter. |
