I'll have a pro/am soon. I read elsewhere on the board that
gripframes are swappable between the entire pro-series. What is
interchangable regarding the internals? I guess my ultimate goal
is to install a CVX valve from a pro/carbine in my pro/am. Is
this possible?

Why do you want to do this..........are you worried about cold weather performance? I am not so certain that the CVX valve swap will work. The 1/8" hose seals to the housing with teflon tape on an early valve and the CVX uses a fitting and "O" ring to seal. I guess anything can be done, but I am not to sure it would be worth it. |

Cold weather is a slight issue (I live North of Buffalo), but my real point is that I'm thinking about an RT trigger (or e-grip if I get really creative). So if the valve fits in the gun, and everything else will work with it (rear bolt, front bolt, etc) then I might just do it. But I need to know for sure before I go buying parts. Also, do you know where I could get an additional gripframe (besides calling tippmann and just buying all the parts to a pro/carbine's gripframe)? |

The cvx valve will not fit the pro am, pro lite seires of guns with out so major mods. As for the grip frame try either ebay or countrypaintball. As for cold weather performance I have never had a problem in the cold with my pro lite and I live in canada. What I would suggest is getting a palmer stabilier for the old girl.
Hope this helps |

Thanks for the definitive answer. I knew I could count on other Tippmann shooters. I'll give country paintball a try, seeing that eBay dosen't have any. |
