Okay, I've got a few questions about customizing a 98 Custom.

1. Can you use C02 with macroline?

2. How do you attach the fittings to the macroline?

3. What paint is good for painting the marker? Camo or just flat black

4. Which is a better barrel for it, a Teardrop or a JJ Ceramic?

I don't know about the macro line But rustolium makes the best paint and from what i know the J&J is a better barrel.

1. Yes, no problems, just do not use microline it's too restrictive.

2. The macroline fits tightly into the ..fittings just like chinese handcuffs kind of, press in and its hard to pull it out without depressing the fitting collar.

3. Any paint color will work, its more movement that gives your position away.

4. Both are good, you can shoot through breaks better with a J&J.

1. Ive had probs with macro and C02, the line blew, but probably because of the kink I accidently put in it.

2 make shure you dont cut it to short, because you have to have it all the way into the fittings for it to seal. you just cut to desired length and push into the holes

3 Ive found enamal paint to work esspecially well, although its glossy. if you want some really good flat colors, use those Ultra Flat camo colors from Wal-Mart, they work extreamly well. take all the powder coat and paint off, get a primer that will stick to metal, apply paint, clear coat if wanted. I found some satain clear coat, its kinda shiny but makes the paintjob last alot longer.

4 out of those two Id take the J&J, great accuracy and even better price. but if your willing to spend a little bit more try out a bigshot, it wont let you down(unless you start choppin)
