Ok, well I was going around looking at opsgear and found this.

But the problem is I own a 98c and was considering asking for it for chirstmas.

Now, can anyone that ownes a 98c and a5 please tell me weather it matters and if 98c's and a5's just use the same stock or what?

I have looked at a5's and 98c's and they seem the same from the outside but I know it doesn't matter if they arn't the same on the inside.

So, can anyone tell me if stocks are interchangable for 98c's and a5's? does anyone actuly own that particular stock?

I don't think they fit, but i wouldn'y know because I don't have one. If you have a little bit of creativity I'm sure you can mod it to fit the 98 custom.

There is no way unless you duct tape it to your gun.

^sure duct tape fixes everything, lol

anyways, there is no way that that stock can fit, not modified that is.

however that cannot stop you from attacting the stock by any means. nothing is impossible and there should be some way to get that thing on there. you should try contacting the dude from engler paintball guns to help you out i think his name is thompsonshooter or something.

good luck

The endcaps are different. BTW, I hear that the sliding stocks aren't stable when fully out.

you might be able to modify it to fit your gun by attaching the 98C's endcap, but i doubt that would work.

if you want a stock like that, either get a CAR stock or a folding stock. OPSGear sells both types.

if it works like the solid stock than you can interchange the two end caps but u would have to have the right end cap for the 98 which isn't easy to find

the A-5 gets all the attention when it comes to that stuff.

I'd go with a side folding stock but that's just me.

The stock you show is not stable when out.

I can do anything you want. Contact me off forum. No selling here

That sliding stock wont work on a 98c, even if you tried to mod it to make it fit and you need to remember what types of real firearms were inspired to create the 98c and the A5

Im in the process of turning my 98c into an AR15 hybrid.

I agree with thompson, a folding stock is probably the better choice. I plan on getting myself one when I have the money. Originally I was looking at a stock just like the one you linked to but I heard exactly what thompson said and changed my mind. The folding stock may not be as adjustable but it at least allows you to move it out of the way if you need to play tight to a bunker or something.
