I dont think so, are you really new to paintball? Because you'll need a bunch of practice walking a mech 98c without any tinkering...i think youll be fine for now...

Yeah you will be able to, i mean its only a gravity feed hopper. I got one with my gun (98 custom) and i would get like 5 or 6 blanks and stuff. I suggest getting a nice electronic loader. Like and Egg2 or a revvy or somethin. You can pretty much outrun any gravity feed hopper if yer a fast shooter.

No you can't run that on a 98c. The only after market hopper available for a 98c would be a Empire Reloader B with rip drive.

dude wtf are you saying? anyways.... you are not going to rip ur mech 98c or anything ...so once in a while, you might need to shake the gun so the balls will go down... go out and shoot a lil and you will see. IMO, I would get a barrel b4 a revvy... gl |

The VL200 is good enough until you hit like 8-10 bps.

Any gun can outrun a VL200. Look into a Revvy.

You should be fine. But if I was you I would seriously look into getting anew barrel. My choice would be the 14" Smart Parts Progressive. I have it for my 98c it it is extremely accurate. And if you are looking into a new hopper then I would reccomend the Revvy with an X-board. It feeds I think 15bps.

You will not be able to out shoot that hopper with just a double trigger. You do not have anything to worry about.

Well I'm going to get a new barrel. I currently have an A-5 and i've been into paintball for about 1-2 years. I just don't have any experience with gravity loaders and double triggers on tippy's. I'm not going to add any ups to my trigger except the double. What I'm thinking about doing is sell my A-5 with 14" big shot and then with that money I'm going to buy a 98 custom with a double trigger, expansion chamber, SP All American, dead on drop forward. I started out thinking I was going to play mid-back, now that I've been playing more I'm rapidly turning into a front man. I don't play speedball just rec and woods. But woods is my main area of interest and play. So I'm selling my A-5 because its too big and heavy. my wrist starts to hurt a little when I run. I want a tippy because I want really durable and reliable, otherwise I would probably buy a autococker. But I've looked into and researched those a lot and I chose the tippy. Well what do you guys think of my plan? The reason I wanted to know about the hopper was because I was wondering if I needed a revvy. My friend that is buying my gun has one and would probably throw it in with the money he's paying because I gave him a really good deal. I know that the revvy will load faster than the vl200 but I know that the vl200 is lighter, and I'm looking for light right now, I'm not some trigger happy mad man, so I dont think I'll outrun it. But like I said I'm not learned in this area of hoppers, I never worried about hoppers because i had the A-5.
Thanks guys. |

It's your average brand X gravity feed hopper. If you have a stock trigger pull no, but if you have a clicky pen spring then probably-maby. |

Gravity feed hopper are junk. If you are in the least bit serious about paintball, buy a Revolution w/ X-board.
