Yea it works great you just got to know how to line it up right.+ its got another nifty feature too if you turn your gun left or right the paint will curve around trees.

I am gonna have to disagree, I owned the flatline, and I thought it was way too much work to set velocity and search for matching paint. If you have a chrony and acess to a vast variety of paint then go for it, But I would suggest a freak barrel or a lapco as it is more practical. So I say NO.

Very accurate when setup right.  Most of the people that say no were just too lazy to buy the right paint or to set it up right.  If you want a really good barrel, get it.  But if you want a no-maintenance barrel, it's not for you.  And by maintenance I mean chronoing it right and using the right paint and setting it up right and cleaning it properly.
I wouldn't venture out there fellas. This sniper's got talent.

Yes, and it's really not that hard to set up unless you only have one finger or something. Just make sure it's straight and that you aren't using super-huge paint and it's fine.

It does NOT make your gun shoot slower (in fps or bps) and it does NOT chop and it does NOT make your shots go everywhere.

Of the people I've seen who insist that it sucks, 99% either 'saw it' or are just trying to be cute. Almost nobody who's actually installed it correctly and used it has a problem with it.
Is God real? You'll find out when you die.

Okay, I don't have a clever signature zinger. So sue me.

It works. The big question is if it works well enough to make up for the cost and aggravation.

I no longer have a Flatline or a 98c for that matter but it did great for me when i did..   It does increase range but the chance of a break at the longer ranges are not good as with any long range shot.  But the best part is not the range but rather the flat trajectory no arching just point and shoot.

I do though think it is over priced and can personally deal with a little less range and have to arc my shots at longer ranges for the $80Us less it costs for my J&J ceramic witch is just if not more accurate.

I Have but no longer use it.Its a severe pain in the butt,You gotta unloose those 3 allen screws everytime to take it out and it eventually rounds or strips them. Also if your in a middle of a game and you got soup in there you can jut loosen it real fast.Buying the right paint for it also sucks. Its just not worth it.

Agree completely.  The range gain is actually not that great, since you can't lob anymore.  But the point-and-shoot feature is outstanding, particularly if you are engaging multiple targets at different ranges.  No need to adjust height when switching targets.

As to paint - contrary to some earlier posts, one of the cool features of the Flatline is that you DON'T have to match paint.  Any paint will do, so long as it isn't old/crappy, and isn't really big.  No need to worry about paint-to-barrel match, since you WANT your paint to roll freely through the barrel.

I agree with Clark Kent. I have the Flatline and love it. I shoot accurately and never break paint.

So, yes.
