I'm wondering whether or not I should keep my 98c and buy an E-Bolt to
upgrade it, or it would just be better to sell the custom (which has a
variety of upgrades) and buy a new gun (think MacDEV Cyborg). I
just wanted to ask this before I made a major investment into a new
gun, when I could potentially save money. Does the E-Bolt
noticable improve:
-Accuracy? -Cosistancy? -Semi-auto ROF? -Efficency? Or should I prehaps get a LPK for my HPA tank? Same criteria for the low pressure kit. Help from anyone who has either or both would be awesome. |

Almost forgot... if I'm seeing the picutures the ASA has a microline
hose from it going into the grip for the solenoid... so can this ASA be
fitted to a universal drop forward? (Think 32º or Dead On
Paintball).

i would get a new gun, yur paying 230 bucks for a higher rof
(13bps)there are guns that cost around that much and shoot up to 18bps.
it depends though, what other upgrades do you have for your 98c?, dob
you think you can mod the ebolt to shoot faster?

the ebolt will only increse rate of fire, the lpk will improve consistancy, efficiency, and because of those, accuracy.

plus dont forget the new board coming out for it, although that would be just another $100. If you have the money, get the E-Bolt and wait for the was board. you will be a happy man. |

I had a tippy before my shocker, I bought an e-bolt for it and liked it for a while....It's hard to get the marker to fire the full 13 bps: 1: the 45* feedneck will slow your loaders feed rate slightly 2: the blowback gasses will only delay the feedtime and cause chops unless you have a halo or reloader B But if speed is not an issue than let me tell you that the upgrade makes the marker somewhat heavier. There are several very frail parts that can be damaged and become a real pain ie: micro switch set screw, WIRES (I broke the wire to the on/off switch about 3 times) and the little hose that you mentioned (which feeds air to the solenoid will blow out and whip around, if nothing else, this will scare the crap out of you as it did me....I finally just got tired of all the problems along with the consisten chopping and got a shocker, cause let's face it, having an electronic marker is just not as fun to have if you dont have the security of an eye system.... So, if I were you, I'd go with the Cyborg....I spent my last paycheck last summer on the e-bolt and now I just really want it back.... |

^ What he said. http://www.model98.net/
Check model 98 net for other ideals like porting the housing. If you want a high end gun, go for it. It's your cash, you are the only one you have to please. Good luck which ever route you take. |
