okay this is a question for anybody who owns and uses pistols in their paintball fights.

would it even be worth it to have a pistol if you never really get desperate enough to need one?

I don't really understand why you would need one.  I mean, it sounds good in theory, but If you have a reliable primary gun, you shouldn't need a pistol.  And having shot one before, if they aren't pretty close, then your probably gonna miss, because they arent accurate at all.
