The milling is alot different in the grip, if you notice, where the original tippmann double trigger guard went is where the adjustment switches are, that's why the trigger guard is different, also the sear spring mount is no longer a pin, its milled mount. There are some other miner milling differences as well.

As for the electricals its almost the exact same e-grip as the A-5's Egrip.

ya that looks like a 98 custom internals, except for the electronics in the handle.

that looks exactly like the A5 e-grip except the little switch is vertical so the trigger presses against it wuicker creating a shorter pull, so does the sear.

^good idea, you could buy the reciver halves, buy the egrip for pro custom and then put the rest of the 98c internals into the new recievers. that would be cool if it worked.

i dont like how you have to buy a whole new marker to get a 98c electric...i think this will hurt tippmann's sales on it.

It doesnt seem that tippmann really tried all that hard on the pro/custom. I think that they should have done something really different like makeing a removeable grip frame that can be interchanged with different brands other than tippmann. They sort of did that with the a-5 but the grip frame cant be swapped with a different one other than the ones specaly made for the a5.

where did you get the pic? is it yours? if so, hows it shoot?

im still disappointed that they made no changes in the body design. if they did, there would probaly be a lot more people buying one instead of the ion.

You'd have to also buy a new trigger guard, and grips along with the reciever halves. If you look closely, where the old double trigger guard mounted is now the adjustment's for the E-Modes, so you have to have the newer Trigger Guard, or the DOP Double Trigger Guard.
