I wouldn't do it. Think long term. Dump a little on each upgrade and you end up with the best after spending alot of money. Try to save up enough for a 12v Revvy w/X-board, or eVLution II. Look into eBay for some great deals on stuff. Around $50 and some patience can get you some really nice stuff sometimes.

The Tripod is based on the revy. I have seen and dissasembled one on the shop counter. I have not played with one. I thought the idea of changing capacity was a little gimicky and I was afraid of breakage, loss of top, and jams between the top and motor during play so I bought another standard 12v revy instead (now that they are back to the old thicker, softer plastic). I tend to stick with the KISS principal most of the time, and parts for the revy are widely available. I was tempted though, so if you get one post a review after awhile and let us know what you think of it.
