This is a Tippmann SL-68II. I got the idea from Doc Nickel's website, DocsMachine.com. It has been stripped of powder coat with a wire-wheel to the raw aluminum. I then removed the ASA from the grip, and sealed the original air passage. The valve area is tapped 1/8npt with nickel plated 90* elbows. The steel hard line is from PPS, running into a modified Automag verticle adapter. It is fully functional ,but here's the thing: it's not done yet. After I'm through, it will wow you all!

Do you happen have an AGD Sydarm? Those are so cool.

Nope, I haven't owned a Sydarm. They look like they would be really fun to play with. All that I own is on that link near the bottom of the original post. Thanks for the compliment by the way

Good start on the project. What do you expect to do to it after this step?

Next step includes clear Phantom Phurniture. I'm going to remove the feedneck and replace it with CCI stock class parts. They will be a clear horizontal feed, silver 15 round tube, and a clear feed cap with ball gate. Short term clear Phantom pump handle; long term custom made clear Tippmann pump handle, like the black one - only clear. I have been in touch with Lee Kinney about making one, (http://punishers-customs.com/) but the problem right now is the pump handle that I've written to Punisher about will not be cheap.

Thanks again, but I'm pretty sure that 4445 has some nicer stuff. My collection is small and unimpressive by comparison to other's.

The SL series is a cast aluminum, and has a texture similar to styrofoam. It isn't feasible to smooth it out, plus having it polished would make it look really dirty or tarnished very quickly.
