Topic: New GunPosted: 26 March 2005 at 11:58pm |

Needless to say, my Tippmann 98c has served its Tour of Duty. After being faithfull to every sunday since '01, I'm finally retiring my gun to back-up, and customization. It alredy includes a polished internals, custom anti-chop bolt, dremeled blade trigger, ghetto trigga stop, top cocking, vertical feed, palmers inline regulator, and a uni-mount accomponied a mac-dev 68/4500 legion-air tank. The flatline fell nothing short of my expectation, but the gun is old, and feeble. So, I am in seach of a new gun, mainly looking for speed I am leaning towards the Indian Creek Designs, Bushmaster 2005. Do any of you posses this gun, or have you heard any stories of this marker? Although I appreciate the help of forumers that posses older models, the 2005 model seems to be re-done with new Free style parts. Any information on this marker is greatly appreciated. Skippy |

From what i have heard, the bko's suck. They chop like mad.
Do you play woodsball? Would you like to stick with a Tippmann? |

Well, my team seems to be moving towards speedball, and to crave my "need for speed" I require an alarmingly fast weapon. And not to flame you as you seem very knowlegable, the BKO's and the Bushmaster 2005, otherwise known as the B2K5, are tottaly different markers.

Well, I'm into customization, so I was planning on buying a new marker so I could tinker with my 98c. I'll give ya my plans. Buy an e-grip for the custom pro, ghetto rig it onto my 98c inorder to save my top-cocking, and then replace the board with the t-board, thus creating and unlimited bps rate, only capped by the cps of a blowback which is around 62. It also enables the possibility of eyes. However, this is all in theory, and yet to be done. Although I think of myself as a pioneer, I require a new gun to play with in the mean-time.

Thank you Panda Man, for showing me where to attain b2k4's, but the all new b2k5 is redone with mostly free-style parts making it not only perform better, but it also looks better and shoots at an estimated 40 cps. Needless to say many problems also accompy the b2k4, so I am leaning towards the b2k5

^... uhhhh...
you realize how much Soddering, Milling, and other things your going to have to do??? Its a better Idea to just go with a Wrath, or a B2k4. The B2k4, and B2k5 aren't that much diffrent... New Trigger, new Recivers, and a Clamping Feed neck is all. Click This! Edited by Panda Man |

Yes i've researched the Diablo Wrath, but it fails in comparison to even the Ion. I take pride in milling and soldering and thats why my Tippmann will be a hobby for me. As for the new gun, I am leaning towards the b2k5.

Ha, the only real reason i'm doing this Tippmann is to see the looks on the faces of DM4 owners when their guns are out-shot my a tippmann 98c. Well, technically it should.

Uhmmm.... ?
There just ganna think its another Tippmann Blow-Back marker, nothing special... If you want to really turn some Heads, put a 90コ Grip Frame on it, with a Matrix Battery Tray in the Grip, and have some sort of Anti-chop, or Eyez. |

/me steps in so...i heard someone mutter the word BKO... yeah, I don't know, for those of you who know about my experience with a BKO, its not that i hate ICD, i just hate BKOs. I've actually been considering a b2k5, you know, i need a good gun that is fast but not too expencive cause im starting to get into more competitive play. |

why ask what marker to get your heart and hopes are set on and icd which i personnaly think is a bad move
Id say emag/xmag/automag with xvalve and ULT i'm just a mag kinda guy but remeber a gun may have speed it could be deadly fast, but without a good i eye (ICD)or anitchop bolt it's good as a blender in your hand. Edited by nforcer4 |
