OK. Now I know all of you guys are tired of hearing this, and quite
frankly I am too, but I am dying to know. I really like how the Ion
sounds. I am currently using a 98 custom, 14" tippmann barrel(i
wish i had gotten a teardrop or j&j), and a 12V Revvy with x-board.
I don't have a lot of money but my birthday is coming up soon, and i
really want to get into speedball but my parents cant afford like a 700
dollar gun. And I have a few questions. 1: Does it shoot accurate with
the stock barrel? 2: If i have it so that it shoots when i pull
trigger and when i let go of the trigger it shoots, can i really get
17BPS? 3: Are the firing modes easy to switch? 4: Can it
use CO2??? I know these are newbish questions, but I would really like
to know before i ask for a new gun, or instead just upgrades for my
gun. Thanks!!!

It shoots better than the stock 98c barrel but you still need to get a new one for it. They are fast and destructive if used right.

I only 50 a month to let you know. I play maybe once or twice a month.
So there is no point in me geting a new barrel for my tippmann then
geting an Ion. So are you saying i should ask for the Ion for my
birthday? By the way happy easter!

out of what i heard about the ion the stock barrel is pretty good but i suggest getting a better barrel and getting n2 or compressed air because co2 is unpreidctable and unconsistent... You will also need a hopper that will be able to support 17 bps if u wanan shoot that fast

1.The stock barrel is ok from what I heard. 2.Yes, it can get 17 bps. 3.Don't know but I think that they would be pretty easy to switch. 4.Yes it can use c02 but it has to be anti-siphoned. |
