Havnt seen one with my own eyes yet. I really want to try one out though.

I think the barrel length with threads is 12in, 11in when on gun.

Oh well what ever, the pictures from tippmann say 11in so I say 11in.

I get mine in 3 days....

I saw a pro response in the shop.  I was surprised because for some reason it looks overall smoother than the custom.  I think it might be powder coated, but maybe not, the paint job just looked better.  Also the letters and patent warnings seem to be gone... but i didn't see it really close up so i might be wrong.

It's really nothing phenomenal as far as new products go. It's basically just a suped up 98c with a new name. I do plan on buying one because, although it's not drastically different than what they already have out, I have seen one in person and I like it. At west point there was a tippmann table and they had one out that you could mess around with so naturally I checked it out. The body is the same as the 98 so it still has the same feel to it only now they threw the egrip electronics into it so it can sling paint. The trigger is stiff and the pull has a lot of play but with a little work you can make it VERY nice. A pen spring mod and trigger stops are all it needs to be a sweet gun. I plan to buy one as soon as I have the extra money and then I'll tinker with it to get it just right. I'm sure it'll become one of the top entry level tourny guns around, possibly even above the ion if the solenoid is really as crappy as people say. It sucks that they capped it at 15 bps though, they really should've just left it uncapped. I think that without a cap on the ROF and a few mods you could easily fire as fast as many other electros. I don't really mind though, 15 is still plenty. It just would be nice to have the ability to shoot faster so people would stop talking smack about tippmann all the time.

i like the custom pro, but i have a 98c. actually, if u just buy an 11 inch j and j ceramic barrel, double trigger, and drop forward...it still equals the same amount as just buying a custom pro....so i think it is a waste of time. but, if i had a buying opportunity that is really cheap, i'd buy it . 98 CUSTOM ROCKS!!!!!!!!!
BOO CUSTOm PRO
