i am think about getting the comp air and would like to know if it is worth it and can you use co2 with it or would it just be better to run co2 through it without the comp air

You need a good regulator that can handle CO2 to use the LPK with CO2.

What kind of gun are you shooting?

About the only thing its good for is if you
  1. are shooting brittle paint
  2. want your gun to be quieter
  3. want less recoil

Noone can tell you if you SHOULD get something for your gun. Your the
only one that knows your play style and have any idea of how you wish to
improve your marker. Noone but you has any idea the budget your
working with either...

I have an LPK for my A-5. It gives my marker less report and less recoil. I
like it, the money wasn't an issue for me, so I got it.

HPA will give you much better performance than CO2 will. If your not
having a problem with your CO2, why fix something that ain't broke?

Just buy the HPA tank. Don't waste the cash on a LPK

Your distance will stay the same no matter what kind of air source your
using with the barrel you have now at the same FPS.

The only thing the LPK will give you is less report, less recoil, and more
consistency over the chrono.

fly is right, if youve got the money then go ahead.  To me it will probably be easier on your gun if youre running nitrogen or HPA.  For co2 though the x chamber should do just fine and if youre extra paranoid then get  a remote line to almost make sure no liquid co2 will get in there.

CO2 on the gun? Palmer Stabilizer and anti-siphoned CO2.
