i just milled off my rear site and the whole top of the gun...like the platform that the rear site is connected to the fore site. I like rthe look of then shiny sanded metal..If i leave it with no paint on will ir rust or i am just fine.

yes and no. Will it turn brown and fall apart?? no..
but it WILL oxidize. You may notice a fine white powder on it. That's aluminum oxide. Its not really bad though. Although since its now exposed to the air, the aluminum oxide will cause the paint around the bare metal to begin peeling. |

If you want to strip all the paint off use paintstripper. Aluminum will not rust, but it will oxidize and become less shiny like he said. If you take it down to its bare metal I suggest you put some kind of clear coat or somthing to protect it from this.
