I have been thinking about this for a long time and have desided to go through with it. My plan is to buy a frame from pbn and put it on my gun. For the sake of this conversation, please ignore the reg and barrel. i do relise i need new ones (my gun) New to old. Gun now has gta trigger on it. Viper sucks-->
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y164/BigBabyMoses06/p101004 24ux.jpg URL because size is too big. This will give you a clear view http://photobucket.com/albums/y164/BigBabyMoses06/(for the hell of it) :) Ok. Back on track. I have all tools nessary to do a prodject like this. (drill press, Taps, solderkit, Dremmel(good 1), hack saws, a very intelegent engeneering friend who will be helping me, sandblaster(idk why i would need that), all kinds of files, tons of sand paper,.... I dont think i would need anything elce. I plan on using the e-bolt in the gun. Will upgrade later to different board. its not worth purchasing one if i do mess up. I also have a stock 98.... that i may do this on to start out with. The help i need from you is what grip to use? I am preferable looking for a 90* frame but i dont know what will fit. Any ideas? How would one go about attaching one? Also, is there anything im missing tool wise? Are their other aspects/problems that i have over looked? Thanks! Zack. also, if the organisation of this thread is slopy, please pm me and i will do my best to fix it :) I copied this directly from PBN. I dont know if ill get enough answers there. |

Are you looking into putting on a sear tripping frame, or just a differant style? Since you have an E-Bolt theres no point of an elctric frame. I would just find an ALUMINUM Spyder/Piranah frame and use that. You cant solder it on there because it will NEVER hold, so you would need to weld it. If both are aluminum you can TIG weld it, but it must be strait. To cut off the old one you would need a bandsaw to ensure its strait. Give me some more questions and Ill answer them. |

Get a space frame(an angel frame) and put it on there. NCC did this to a tippy a little while back. |

I do NOT want a spyder or similar frame. also, double trigger is a must. The current one im looking at is: http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=984009&hi ghlight=%2BFrame Edited by BigBabyMoses06 |
