Topic: REGULATE OR NOT AND WHICH ONEPosted: 15 May 2005 at 4:52pm |

Im thinking of regulating my 98 with ebolt. I use both HPA and co2, I only use co2 when Im not at a field, Only after my HPA tank runs out. Which means I use both but mostly HPA.. I know the palmer is best for co2 but I heard the torpedo can run co2 also. So which one should I get? All input is appreciated since I dont know a lot about regs. |

The Palmer is best for c02, and will also work decently for hpa. I'd say go with that.

I don' know much about the torpedo. It's better than the palmer for HPA but I dont know whether or not it can tolerate c02.

The torp wont work with a stock 98C. Not enough output pressure.

Torpedo reg is a LP regulator. 98C needs one with ouput pressure of around 850 psi.

Torpedo does in fact work with CO2, but they are right, the output pressure is too low.

As far as I know the Palmer is the only one that works with both and has a high enough outpur pressure.
