WHAT WOULD CAUSE MY GUN TO SHOOT RAPID FIRE AS SOON AS I HIT THE TRIGGER IN SINGLE SHOT MODE? YES I SAID SINGLE SHOT MOOD, i LET OFF THE TRIGGER AND IT STILL SHOOTS. I HAVE A STAR BLOT AND A JCS FOLDING STOCK, PROGRESIVE 18" BARREL , REVY X-BAORD HOPPER, 68-3000 PURE-ENERGY FIBER TANK, REMOTE LINE. ALSO THE REAR BOLT IS NOT SMOOTH IT IS VERY RUFF ,IS THAT SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE THAT?

If the rear bolt is as rough as it sounds then no, it's not supposed to be like that. I think it has some slight ridges in it but they shouldn't really feel rough. If the bolt is creating a lot of friction then that could definitely be the source of your problem. The extra friction may keep it from traveling back to the sear after you fire the gun which would cause it to bounce off of the valve rapidly. It is also possible that your gun has an air problem. Since you're using a remote, I would try hooking the tank directly to the ASA. If that solves the problem then your remote needs to be fixed/replaced. If not then it probably isn't the remote and you should try putting different tanks on the gun. That will determine whether or not the tank is to blame. Before doing any of this though, make sure you got your tank filled. And please don't type in all caps, it makes your posts harder to read.
